This event brings together data scientists and sustainability researchers to address pressing environmental challenges using innovative datasets, methods, and algorithms.

Student & Postdoc Lightning Talks: Apply Now!

We invite students and postdoctoral researchers working at the intersection of sustainability and data science to give 8–10 minute presentations.

  • Researchers from sustainability fields (e.g., Earth System Science, Geophysics, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, Energy Resources Engineering) may present novel environmental datasets, data-driven analyses, or key research questions that would benefit from data science approaches.
  • Researchers from data science fields (e.g., Applied Math, Computational Math, Computer Science, Statistics) may present analyses of environmental datasets or methods and algorithms relevant to sustainability applications.
