Call for Applications - Data Science Scholars 2020
Stanford Data Science is pleased to invite applications for our third cohort of Data Science Scholars starting Fall 2020-2021.
Stanford Data Science Scholars are current Stanford PhD students who are advancing the use of data science at the frontiers of their research. Awardees are provided with 50% of their compensation over two years to support them taking on new challenges in data science. Scholars participate in a diverse cohort of students, post-docs and faculty and bring what they have learned back to their home departments/groups.
Candidates will be selected from departments and research groups in any school on campus, and represent interests in the physical & life sciences, social sciences, humanities, education, human health, nature and sustainability, engineering, economics, ethics, public policy, statistics, and computer sciences.
