Faculty Director, Prof. Emmanuel Candès, gave the opening keynote for the The 24th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Statistics (AISTATS).
His talk covered recent progress on relaible predictions, or fairness on machine learning. Presenting joint work with Lihua Lei and other collaborators: Romano, Patterson, Sabatti and Barber, Ramdas, and Tibshirani.
