Hosting Future Data Science Gatherings at Our New Home: A Photo Album

The Stanford Data Science team has started the countdown to the day we can move into our brand-new headquarters on the Stanford University campus. Why so much excitement? The Data Science & Computation Complex (DSCC) building, which is currently under construction, is set to become a vibrant hub for future Data Science community events, innovation, and collaboration.

Our lucky Technical Community Manager, Francesca Vera, got to wear a hard hat for a walkthrough and shared her thoughts via this photo album. Like Francesca, we cannot wait to welcome all of you to the DSCC for a future gathering!

N.B. The view in the very last photo is not Photoshop!

This photo truly does not do justice to how massive the new Stanford Data Science & Computation Complex will be! The east and west wings are connected by an open "hive" network of stairs, and the plethora of windows ensures that every space in the building will get copious amounts of natural light.

The golden hour view from the top floor atrium at sunset. I sadly missed the glass installation by a day but one can already picture hosting future community events in such a grand and open space.

A sneak preview of where some of the Stanford Data Science offices and conference rooms will be housed. It's all coming together so quickly, and I can't wait to move in!

And, my favorite part of the whole setup - the common areas of Stanford Data Science will have the most unbeatable view of the Main Quad.
