Stanford Data Science Scholar Anna Thomas Wins Bezos Earth Fund AI for Climate Award

Congratulations to our brilliant SDS Scholar Anna Thomas and her team!

A team co-led by Anna Thomas, in collaboration with the nonprofit Food System Innovations, has been selected as one of 15 winners of the Bezos Earth Fund AI for Climate and Nature Grand Challenge — chosen from more than 1,200 applicants worldwide. Read the press release! 

Their project will receive $2 million to advance open-source AI solutions for sustainable protein design, helping drive innovation toward a more resilient and sustainable food system.
