Aishwarya Mandyam

Aishwarya Mandyam is a PhD candidate in Computer Science at Stanford University. Her research focuses on developing principled machine learning methods to tackle human-centered challenges in automated clinical decision-making. She integrates techniques such as reinforcement learning, conformal prediction, and doubly robust estimation to ensure safety, interpretability, and personalization in ML systems. Before her PhD, she earned undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Philosophy, and a Master’s in Computer Science, all from the University of Washington.
