Ali Rauh
Director of Applied Science and Data Science, Uber
Ali leads science teams across San Francisco, Seattle, New York, and Bangalore at Uber covering Fares, Rides, Mobility Verticals, and Uber for Business. Before that, she spent over six years leading the Airbnb marketplace science team. Ali helped create multiple innovative data products, processes, and techniques used company-wide and inspiring adoption across the industry. Examples include the experimentation guardrails process, and future incremental value to optimize long-term decision making. Ali received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago. She is originally from Germany and came to the US to play tennis for Davidson College (and study Economics).
