Annie Lamar

Annie is a third-year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Classics. Her research focuses on Homeric Greek, natural language processing, and small data. Her current research is exploring an NLP-driven cognitive-linguistic model of archaic Greek. Annie also works at as graduate technical mentor for the Center for Spatial and Textual Analysis (CESTA).

Annie obtained a B.A. in Classical Languages and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Puget Sound. In her free time, Annie enjoys walking her dog, doing yoga, and reading.
