Earth System Science
Brian Rogers
Brian is a PhD candidate in Earth System Science, advised by Prof. Kate Maher. The focus of his research is on monitoring and verification of nature-based carbon dioxide removal (CDR) technologies. His research employs geochemical models and Bayesian frameworks to evaluate the efficacy of CDR technologies, as well as stochastic simulation techniques to design accurate, cost-effective sampling strategies. Through this work, Brian hopes to advance the CDR industry by providing rigorous, transparent monitoring and verification frameworks.
