Britiny Cook

Britiny is a third-year PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology, specializing in economic sociology, social psychology, and organizations. Her research examines unique organizational models – primarily those that seek to merge the personal and private spheres. Her current project makes use of big data and natural language processing techniques to identify markers of this integration among employee workplace reviews.

Britiny obtained her B.A. in Sociology from Stanford University, with an emphasis on Data Science, Markets and Management. She also holds an M.A. in Sociology. In her free time, she enjoys plant-based cooking, photography, reading, and meditation.
