Dominic Coey

Director, Central Applied Science, Meta

Dominic is a Director and research scientist on the Central Applied Science team at Meta, where he leads the Economics, Algorithms and Optimization group. His interests are in causal inference broadly, in both large-scale experimental and observational settings, and in using insights from economic theory to inform strategy and decision-making. His public-facing work has touched on topics including variance reduction, empirical Bayesian shrinkage estimators, experiment splitting, and experimentation in markets. He received a PhD in Economics from Stanford University.
