Statistics

Ginnie Ma

I’m a PhD candidate in the Department of Statistics, advised by Emmanuel Candès. My research focuses on leveraging black box predictions for rigorous, valid statistical inference, especially in label scarce settings. I am interested in a variety of applications including large-scale biomedical and imaging problems. Before joining Stanford, I studied mathematics and statistics at Harvard University. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, going to the gym, and playing piano.
