Gowri Nayar
Gowri Nayar is a computer science researcher with extensive experience in both applied and theoretical machine learning, particularly in the genomics and healthcare fields. She holds a B.A. in Computer Science and Cognitive Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.Sc. in Computer Science with a focus on Algorithms and Machine Learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is currently working towards her Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics (BMI) at Stanford University under Dr. Russ Altman. Her current work focuses on using high-throughput protein data to enhance function prediction across the proteome, specifically predicting novel protein pathways related to disease.
