Luc Houriez

Luc is a PhD Candidate in the department of Mechanical Engineering advised by Professors Martin Fischer and Eric Darve. He obtained his MSc in Engineering in France from CentraleSupélec - Université Paris-Saclay. He is interested in using data-driven methods to enhanced climate adaptation and mitigation strategies. Currently, he collaborates with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory to improve sea level change estimates and help coastal planners adapt to changing environmental conditions. Outside his research, Luc enjoys multi-day hiking, dancing swing or french rock, and making crêpes.
