Saskia Comess

Saskia is a PhD student in the Interdisciplinary Environment and Resources Program (EIPER) at Stanford University, co-advised by Professor Gary Shaw in epidemiology and Professor Susan Holmes in statistics. She is interested in the human health effects of exposure to air pollution and statistical methods for environmental epidemiology. She currently works with Professor Dan Ho at Regulation, Evaluation and Governance Lab (RegLab) at Stanford Law School on research to understand the environmental and health impacts of exposure to industrial animal agriculture. She has also collaborated with Professor Josh Warren in the Department of Biostatistics at Yale.

Prior to Stanford, she completed a Master's in Public Health at the Yale School of Public Health, an MA in Statistics, also at Yale, and received a BA from Vassar College.
