Xiran Liu
Postdoctoral Research Associate, Data Science Institute, Brown University
Xiran works at the intersection of population genetics, data science, and computational biology. She develops computational methods to interpret variation in genetic data, addressing challenges in the field such as understanding population admixture and the genetic underpinnings of complex traits. Her recent work focuses on how structured patterns reveal fine-scale relationships between populations, individuals, and genes. She received her PhD in Computational and Mathematical Engineering from Stanford University in 2023.
