Data Science Collaboratory
The Stanford Data Science Collaboratory will connect careful data analysis with emerging science and research communities to foster both transformative science and citizenry literate in data science. The Collaboratory will focus on two major goals. The first is to help to build sustainable relationships between humans and the environment, studying, for example, fisheries and supply chains and managing oceans in a changing climate. The second is to help us move from a fractured society to a sustainable one, by understanding determinants of poverty, detecting political messaging in digital media, and building statistical tools to promote equitable treatment.
The Collaboratory is supported by the National Science Foundation under Grant No. 1934578, within the Harnessing the Data Revolution program.
