Biomedical Informatics
Kevin Wu
I'm at 3rd year year PhD student in Biomedical Informatics, working at the intersection of AI, healthcare, and regulation. Prior to coming to Stanford, I worked at a medical AI startup called DeepHealth where I helped develop algorithms to detect breast cancer. I also have a M.Eng. in Computational Science from Harvard and a B.A. from Duke University in Statistics. My primary research goals revolve around building better AI algorithms for healthcare and developing better methods of evaluating them in different healthcare settings.
In my spare time, I love watching the LA Dodgers, fishing, and playing with my Australian Shepherd, Kai.
