Mahdi Honarmand

Mahdi is a PhD candidate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, under the guidance of Professor Dennis Wall and Professor Scott Delp. His research interest lies at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Healthcare. Currently, he is dedicated to the development of personalized human movement-based behavioral phenotyping Computer Vision models on edge devices, achieved through efficient self-supervised AI/ML domain adaptation techniques. Mahdi's academic journey has been recognized with the Stanford University School of Engineering Engineering Fellowship ('21) and the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) Graduate Fellowship ('23).
